The holidays are upon us! No matter how you celebrate, the 38 days between U.S. Thanksgiving and New Years are some of the most challenging for many of us. Shorter days. Darker nights. Even the food seems to scream “it’s cold outside. you need to snuggle. snuggle with me…in your belly”.
Many of my go to meals during the holidays are simple. So simple they are almost silly. So I decided to share them with you as KISSes. Normally KISS stands for Keep It Simple Stu… you know where I am headed. But I don’t like that version. My KISSes for you are simple. They may be silly. I want you to take it easy, give yourself permission to not stress over being the kitchen queen for 38 days, enjoy your family and friends instead of washing china and silver that only see the table once a year.

Perfectly fried eggs and TJ Scallion Pancakes with Applesauce
This is perfect for breakfast, brunch or honestly dinner for breakfast. The Trader Joe’s Scallion Pancakes are so savory I had trouble not cooking up the rest. Nom nom nom.
1 perfectly fried egg with 1/4 cup eggs whites, sprinkle of Bragg Nutritional Yeast and sriracha = 2 SP / 2 PP
1 Trader Joes Scallion Pancake = 5 SP / 4 PP
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce with a sprinkle of cinnamon = 0 SP / 0 PP
Total = 7 Smart Points / 6 Points Plus
Ham & Cheese Weggo Pizza – 5 Smart Points
This super easy, super simple lunch is even a winner with my husband. And all you need is a waffle iron…no dirty dishes necessary
1 egg with 1/4 cup eggs whites, sprinkle of Bragg Nutritional Yeast = 2 SP / 2 PP
1 sturdy flour tortilla = 2 SP / 2 PP
1/8 cup fat free Ricotta = 0 SP / 0 PP
1 ounce lean diced ham = 1 SP / 1 PP
Any seasonal fresh fruit = 0 SP / 0 PP
Total = 5 Smart Points / 5 Points Plus
(follow instructions below for the Original Weggo but sub these ingredients. Be creative, make up some new combos!)
Easy 30 Smart Point Day Meal Plan
Easy Breakfast (4SP / 4PP):
- 2 Hardboiled Eggs
- Sprinkle Bragg Nutritional Yeast
- Swirl of Sriracha
- 1 cup grapes
- 1 Pluot or other seasonal fruit
Easy Lunch (6SP / 8PP):
- 2 Slices White Wheat Bread
- 1 tsp Ingerhoff Horseradish Sauce
- 1 slice Velveeta
- Handful of baby spinach
- 2 oz Trader Joes (or similar) Black Forest Ham
- 2 oz Applegate (or similar) Roasted Turkey Breast
- 1/2 cup carrots
- 1 Pluot or other seasonal fruit
Easy Snack (4SP / 4PP):
- 1 Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Chocolate Cherry
- 1/2 Questbar Double Chocolate Chunk
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
Easy Dinner (16SP / 12PP):
- 1/2 one Trader Joe’s Tarte au Brie e toux Tomatoes Pizza (or similar)
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced cucumbers
- 2 Tbsp Trader Joe’s Goddess Dressing (or similar)
Easy Breakfast (4SP / 3PP):
- 1 cup Trader Joe’s Multigrain O’s (or equivalent)
- 1/2 cup So Delicious Almond+ Almond Milk (or equivalent)
Quick & Easy Lunch (6SP / 6PP):
- 1 Thomas Bagel Thin
- 2 Slices Velveeta (or equivalent) toasted in a toaster oven
- Any 0 point fruit
Quick Snack (4SP / 4PP):
- 1 Lemon Cream Pie Quest Bar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
Easy Dinner (12SP / 10PP):
- Thomas Bagel Thin
- 2 Tbsp Palmetto Cheese Spread w/jalapenos (or equivalent) toasted on bagel thin
- 17 Cape Cod Waffle Cut Buffalo Cheddar Kettle Cooked Chips (or equivalent)
- Watermelon or other 0 point fruit
Quick Snack (4SP / 3PP):
- 3 cups Dusted Dark Chocolate Skinny Pop
- Cup of hot tea
