This recipe was created for the Miller’s Banana Pepper Sauce Contest! I hope you enjoy and let the good folks at EatMillers.com know how you liked it!
This recipe is accidentally vegan and vegetarian (well, unless you toss it in chicken wings…just sayin) so it’s a good one for other things like tofu, tempeh, veggie dipping, you name it. I found myself just dragging my finger through what was left in the bowl and licking it straight off of there. Yes, it’s that good.
I took the wings home after creating the final version of the recipe LIVE during a Facebook chat last week. I don’t know how the voting at EatMillers.com will go but here is how it went at our house that night.
1st – all the wings were consumed within I’d say 6 or 7 minutes of hitting the door and that was only because they had two other recipes to also try
2nd – the Miller’s Habanero Banana Pepper Sauce is my fave of the three!
3rd – this is how the fam voted:
*Me – “maybe I should add another tablespoon of hot sauce”
*Hubby – “these are amazing! Are there more? Did anyone else want any? I’ll just stand over them and eat what they don’t”
*Daughter – “Oh. My. Gosh. These are perfect just like they are. You should totally enter the recipe in our booth at Wingfest this year”
*Son in Law – “oh, wow. That’s pretty hot (stands for a few minutes just holding water in his mouth LOL). I mean those are too hot for me, but you should total enter them in Wingfest this year!”
So even if I don’t win this recipe contest, sounds like Miller’s Habanero is headed to Wingfest this year!
