I soooo appreciate @drizzlemeskinny for this sweet post. It’s true, even though many are sheltering in place and glued to the internet bloggers are struggling too. I am also a woman owned business with a real brick and mortar countertop and retail store. We can’t close…we have families to keep paid, rents that won’t be forgiven, lights to be kept on. My sweet bloggin friend Star @theskinnyishdish shared this yesterday and while some might not of seen the vulnerability in it, I sure did!! The economy is struggling right now and it’s some scary s*it… in the blink of an eye there’s so many people without a paycheck and it worries me so much for them and their families.. many of you know that bloggers and youtubers alike earn a living by people visiting their blogs or watching videos .. for some of us it’s our full time job.. and you might be thinking well everyone is stuck at home surely they are on the internet.. wrong! Unless you have a blog devoted to COVID-19 or where to buy toilet paper you are feeling the effects and advertisers are buckling down.. so why not spend a little extra time visiting your favorite blogs or watching your fav videos, whether it be recipes, fashion, mom blogs or travel just know you are helping them out and we all greatly appreciate it ❤️ I’d love for you to use this post to share some of your favorite bloggers or youtubers or even podcast – if you like true crime you must go check out @truecrimecanon 🙌
