The number one question I get is “so what should I eat every day?” followed closely by “do you have a shopping list I can use?” Well now I do. And now you do too!
First things first, you are going to need 5 or 6 staples that you keep on hand at all times. Things that you can fall back on in a pinch. Food, drink, whatever it may be that goes with things you eat regularly and can make a meal. Or a snack. Then round out your cupboards & fridge to 25 or so items and you’ll really be on your way. Even if you don’t cook you have to keep your food choices ready so you have hope, hope of eating something on plan. And you know my motto…If You Have an Egg, You Have Hope. Get yourself some hope.
No matter what, these are the Top 5 Items that must be in my kitchen!
I’ve seen some good ones….here is my#wwtop5musthaves list!
1) ummm Eggs! I use Egglands Best Cage Free. I’ve never had a broken egg, pretty yolks, and delicious! Remember, If You Have an Egg…You Have Hope! At 2 Smart Points per egg you can’t go wrong with this protein and nutrition packed power house
2) egg whites. I use them in my Secret Recipe Eggs, Waffles, Weggos, again Egglands Best is my preference but I also like Trader Joe’s. 3 Tbsp = 0 Smart Points
3) Dean Jacobs Italian Bread Dipping Seasoning – fresh grind and absolutely delicious. I have made my husband drive over an hour to buy some. You need it. Trust me. Eggs, chicken, veggies, bread. Buy it. Now. 1 tsp = 0 Smart Points
4) Bragg Nutritional Yeast – I don’t even know how to explain this little miracle. My mother is vegan and introduced me to it as a nutritional supplement. It’s so delicious I buy it myself now. My best description? It’s like Panko and Parmesan had a baby. Eggs will never be the same once you try this on them. 1 Tbsp = 0 Smart Points
5) So Delicious Almond+ Almond Milk – on cereal, Delicious. In my Secret Recipe Eggs, amazing. Creamy, silky, lots of Protein, this is a must keep in my house. 1 cup = 1 Smart Point
