You had me at bacon.
Earlier this week a friend shared a video recipe from Delish that stopped me in my tracks. I had to go back for a second look. Watching it come together I think crack was an understatement. This had to rank up there with downright sinful. And then I calculated the Smart Points…sinful indeed.
For an 1/8 of the recipe the SP equal 8. For a fourth 21. But if you eat the same number of wedges as in my version…gulp…you would pack in a whopping 43 Smart Points. I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure even bacon crack is worth all of my dailies plus some.
But 3? I’m in!
Maple Bacon “Crack”ers: 3 WW Smart Points per serving (2 servings)
Ingredients:
- 1 Joseph’s Lavash (or two 1 point tortillas)
- 4 Tbsp Kirkland Crumbled Bacon (or similar)
- 1/4 cup Cary’s Sugar Free Maple Flavored Syrup
- 2 tsp Truvia Baking Blend
- Coconut Non Stick Spray
Preheat oven to 350. Place Lavash on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Spray lightly with coconut non stick spray. Poke liberally with a fork. Spread the syrup evenly over the entire Lavash allowing it to soak in the fork holes. Sprinkle the baking blend and bacon crumbles evenly over Lavash. Bake for 15 minutes or until Lavash just begins to get crisp. Allow to cool and then cut diagonally with a pizza cutter. Slide the other direction and divide into two servings.
Then start all over again…because these are going to disappear. Quick.
