Many of you have been around long enough to know my recipe for Windstar Karen’s Buffalo Chicken Dip is one of my absolute favorites! I could seriously eat it every day.
In the extra credit portion of Chat #186, we tried out a variation on this classic recipe and I’m so excited to share it with you all! We’ve developed a recipe for Hot Bacon Honey Mustard Dip and I promise you’re going to want to eat the whole thing in one sitting.
It’s a delicious treat that is only 2 Smart Points per ¼ cup serving, so you can enjoy without any guilt!
Here are a couple of serving suggestions:
- Serve with tortilla chips or carrots
- Use as a spread on bagels
- Top an acorn squash with the dip
- Serve as a topping on That Man’s Chicken Breast or Thighs
Hot Bacon Honey Mustard Dip

Yield 14 1/4 cup servings
2 SP per ¼ cup serving
Ingredients
- 8 oz. fat-free cream cheese (room temperature)
- ½ cup Velveeta shredded cheese (or other shredded cheese that melts well)
- ¼ cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup of G Hughes sugar-free honey mustard (or other light honey mustard)
- 6 slices of my candied bacon, crumbled
Instructions
- Mix together cream cheese, shredded cheese, Greek yogurt, and honey mustard until combined.
- Fold candied bacon crumbles into mixture
- Microwave mixture for 1.5 to 2 minutes
- Stir
- Microwave for 1 minute
- Stir again and serve
