Hopefully everyone found the link to turn in your words and get your charm from the WW challenge this summer… At least we had fun doing ONE thing this summer, right?
John drove me an hour to a lovely bridal shower for a lovely young lady so I missed the 2:30 Knoxville Zoom. If you were there, I hope you enjoyed Gwen and sorry I missed you!
Thank you to everyone who bought a Weggo t-shirt, other items from our website, came to see me, or sent money towards the new camera. I got a chance to play with one this morning and I’m confident it is what we need. We are still about $400 away so if you didn’t get a change to get a shirt we still have some!
You can help us meet our goal by:
- Buying a Weggo t-shirt: http://www.ifyouhaveanegg.com/product-category/apparel/.
- Downloading Bravo stickers and printables: http://www.ifyouhaveanegg.com/product-category/digital-downloads/
- Making a purchase from KC Kitchen Center: https://www.kckitchencenter.com/
- Ordering a Spreadshirt: https://shop.spreadshirt.com/if-you-have-an-egg/all
- Purchasing one of my recommended products: http://www.ifyouhaveanegg.com/product-category/recommendations/
Thank you for your support!
Last week during Chat #186: When You Sleep we talked about going to bed on time (sorry Netflix!), making a routine, and tracking to make sure we knew how we were doing.
Your homework for the week was #solidsleep. Let’s see how you did!
- Lynn had a long, hot night due to a storm and power outage but that didn’t stop her from tracking her sleep!
- Sylvia tracked her sleep on her Apple Watch and got a total of 6 hours and 45 minutes of #solidsleep
- Kim may have been our most solid sleep this week, tracking a total of 7 hours and 45 minutes of quality sleep.
Bravo ladies, you nailed it!
This Week’s Topic: When You Create a Micro Habit
Remember the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey? HAL9000 (Heuristically Programmed Algorithmic Computer) was programmed to find any approach to problem solving even if it‘s not guaranteed to work. HAL9000 is a fictional character. Your brain is the most complicated computer on this planet and capable of the same problem solving every time you use it – even if logic tells you it’s not guaranteed to work!
We’ve talked about Habit Loops before (there’s a chat for that!) This week go small… really small… as in, microscopically small.
This Week’s Homework: #microhabit
Your homework is to find one habit you want to create and then find one micro action that you CAN do and WILL be easy to do over and over and over – you WILL change your brain!
For #microhabit tell us one micro habit you will try this week (remember to make it tiny) and tag me:
- Instagram tag @ifyouhaveanegg
- Facebook Page tag @ifyouhaveanegg
- Facebook Group tag @Kelly Green Milligan
- WW Connect tag @scrapnstamp2
Extra Credit:
I’ve gotten out of the habit of preparing meals in advance to eat for lunch when I’m at work, so this week my #microhabit is going to the grocery store. And only buying things that I already have recipes and meal plans for. So this week for our extra credit we’re taking a look at my Trader Joe’s grocery haul!
