- Sylvia’s favorite exercise is Zumba Gold. The immediate impacts for her are: joy from being in class with friends, feeling upbeat from the music, more energy for the rest of the day, and a bonus – she makes better food choices because she’s not bored!
- Over on YouTube, MaryAnn says she walks because: it’s a stress reliever, she breathes easier, more energy to finish her day, and a bonus – it takes her to a good place!
- Kelly (yours truly) whines and moans and complains when her activity routine is interrupted. She likes to walk as often as possible because: she gets to spend time with friends, family, and whoever will go for a walk, it’s a major stress reliever, and it makes her feel accomplished!

This Week’s Topic: What Happens In Your Body When You Sleep
When you go to sleep your body shuts down, right? Wrong! Your body does so much when you’re sleeping soundly.
Sleep impacts your brain function, hormones, metabolism, and so much more. That’s why getting a good night’s sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your health.
A few good ways to wind down in order to get a solid night of sleep? Exercise or do some activity before bed, go to the bathroom, turn off your TV, and put down your phone.
This Week’s Homework: #solidsleep
Track one night’s sleep (in your WW app, with your FitBit, in a sleep diary, etc). Keep track of: 1) what time you went to bed, 2) when you got up, 3) how many times you got up during the night, and 4) how you felt when you woke up.
