Last week WW gave us some handy tools to use for making tracking easy, quick, and sometimes even fun. I picked my three personal faves to tackle:
- Lack of Time
- We don’t know how to count something (so we don’t)
- We don’t want to know!
Your homework for the week was to #take a picture of your plate and tag me… Let’s see how you did with your homework!
- Stacey made a Mexican Pizza with a Jospeh’s Pita, black bean dip from Aldi, FF mozzarella, and a variety of veggies…. yum!
- Haley created the yuuuuuuuuummiest homemade Chimichanga in her air fryer and used nonfat plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
- Susy was proud of herself and so am I – she did her homework for the first time in forever (and now I’m singing Frozen) and used an Ole Extreme Wellness wrap to make a burrito with a side salad, lite homemade ranch dressing and fresh pineapple!
Bravo ladies, you nailed it!
This Week’s Topic: Put Your Mind First
“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford
3 Way to “Think You Can”
- Look back at a time when you’ve lost weight before and remember how you felt. Before you start thinking about what happened next, write down three positive words to describe how you felt.
- Remember your “why” instead of how much or how little weight you’ve lost. Focus on your grandkids that want you to be around and be able to run and play with them without getting winded. Focus on your health goals – like lowering your blood pressure or keeping your blood sugar under control.
- Talk to yourself like a friend – even write a littler (Stuart Small SNL daily affirmations)
This Week’s Homework: #thinkyoucan
Write down three positive thoughts about a time when you lost weight – either in the past or on your journey now! Don’t forget to share those positive thoughts with the rest of our WW community on social media:
- Instagram tag @ifyouhaveanegg
- Facebook page tag @ifyouhaveanegg
- Facebook group tag @Kelly Green Milligan
- WW Connect tag @scrapnstamp2

Interested in learning more about meal prep? Here is Chat #150 where it was mentioned with a review of the Meal Prep Haven containers. We’ve been putting them to the test and so far all passing grades: easy to wash, stack for small storage space (including the lids!), 2 month freezer test was a success, microwavable, fairly watertight (I wouldn’t pack soup in it, but still), and held up well in my lunch bag!
